Attendance Policy

As with a regular yoga practice, the key to success in teacher training in consistency. Therefore, we feel it is very important to have an attendance policy that reflects the importance of showing up for yourself and your community. The course must be completed in full in order for certification to be awarded - this includes in-person hours and any outside assigned reading, assignments or group class requirements. Before completing your application, please ensure you can fully commit to this teacher training.

Absences

The first 4 hours missed are excusable absences and will not count against your ability to receive your certification. Any missed hours in excess of 4 must be made up. A total of 20 make-up hours are allowed. If more than the allotted number of hours are missed, you may be removed from the program and may be eligible for an account credit to be used toward a future training.

Make Up Hours:

You must work with the program facilitator to receive make-up hour instructions. Please note, make-up hours may be offered at an additional cost if private, in-person instruction is necessary.

Emergencies/Illness/Planned Time-Off

We understand that you have important conflicts outside of the classroom. Please let us know before training begins of any planned time away that conflicts with training.

In the case of emergencies and/or illnesses, please contact us immediately to alert us that you will not be at training and we will be in touch with make-up instructions.
